I ran for an hour 33 minutes and covered 8 miles. Most of the time I was running between 10 and 10:30 miles, but on the way out I did some half-mile segments around a 9 to 9:30 pace. On the way back I slowed down to 11-11:30 pace to give my body a rest.
I felt fine during he run and was glad that I was going faster and farther than I've been doing since my half-marathon on April 21.
I forgot to bring some water with me and was pretty thirsty when I finished. The temperature was in the 70s during the run, and it was a beautiful sunny day.
