Teaching the basics of running via the experiences of an 82+ year old man who has been running and walking for over 44 years, including the completion of four marathons and training for a fifth marathon.

Ran/walked 1.5 miles on a beautiful Spring day
Because of family scheduling and having to do a quick run, I ran/walked 1.5 miles instead of the 2.0 miles I would have run. My wakeup heart rate was 57. My knee was slightly sore during the run, but by the time I finished, it felt fine, and it has felt fine during the day.
