My guest-article is online

I recently was invited to write a guest article for the Diet, Nutrition, and Wellness Journal. My article has been posted and is online. The article summarizes my thoughts about why I run, why I've run for so many years, and why I've only had one minor injury from running.

  1. Congrats on your guest blog. Very good points especially about training for and racing being a contributor to injury.

  2. Congratulations Allen.
You're still young by heart and you proved that by your achievements at the age of 76.

  3. Nice little guest post there Alan and I can echo a lot of what you say. Before running I did an awful lot of walking and mountaineering which gave me strength and stamina.
I’ve had a few minor injuries but never had an op of any sort. I don’t use a heart rate monitor, just listen to my body and, like you, just use my Garmin for measuring distances and time. I never look at the darn thing when I’m actually running.
    Stick at it!
